Hey All you Monday Rec Players,

We just wanted to remind everyone that even if your team is only playing the single game scheduled, either for the early game or maybe the late game, please come early if you play in the late game or stay afterwards if you play in the early game because sometimes players are needed to fill out the roster for one of the other teams. Once all is good you can be on your merry way, or stay to watch the game.
We sometimes run lean for Players. So let’s all try and come out to support the other teams and make sure they have enough players. It is that time of the year when many are away so spares are sometimes needed.

Thanks Guys
Enjoy this weeks Monday Rec Games.

Lost Bat from "A" Division

Hi Everyone,

We are searching for a lost bat. It belongs to John Knibbe with the Tigers.
This bat was left after the 10am game this past Tuesday June 6th.
The Tigers were playing the Phillies.
When that game was over the bat was left but along the backstop then the Brewers and the A’s took over the field for the 11:30am game.
So we “think” someone picked up that bat after the second game was over.
Can everyone please have a look through your gear bag for this lost bat.

It is a 28oz, Louisville Genesis. It has a green barrell, a white handle with green tape on the handle.
We even have the serial number, # 20362888

The picture in this message is the bat we are searching for.

We would appreciate your help in locating this bat and getting it back into it’s owners hands.

Thanks Everyone
Paul

League Rules - Reminder

Hi Everyone,

I have been asked to post a couple of Reminders to the league regarding
League Rules that everyone must follow.

1.
RULE 5 Section 5.3
All players eligible and able to play, shall be listed on the starting lineup and MUST play offense, defense and must bat.

There are no exceptions to this rule and all players, managers and coaches need to be aware of this. Violation of this rule could result in discipline including forfeited games.

2.
Rule 5 Section 5.8
This rule refers to the use of substitute players for missing players.

It is a dual responsibility whereby the player is responsible to track how many games they’ve played and for what team. It is also the responsibility of the manager of the team using substitutes to record their use and to forward a copy of said substitutes to their respective Division Reps. (within 72 hours)Failure to do so could result in discipline including forfeiture of games. Please read the rules and apply them accordingly. There are no exceptions to the enforcement of this rule.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
