Hello CSMS League Members:

Below you will find the agenda for your league’s Fall AGM Meeting at Triwood Community Centre a week from this Monday, October 26th, at 7:00pm.

With respect for COVID-19 precautions at the meeting, please enter the Triwood facility through the southwest entrance. The meeting venue is a very large room that will be set up with 6-seat tables widely spaced so as to provide for social distancing. You may wish to sit at a table with others of your 2020 CSMSL cohort teams.

The Triwood facility and current City of Calgary rules allow for a maximum of 100 attendees. We do not anticipate more than that number attending based on past experience. Please bring a mask and wear it except when you are eating. There will be some bar and food service beginning at 5:00pm. We will have a mask for you if you should happen to forget yours.

Hello League,

Please be informed that our league’s fall AGM will be held at the Triwood Community Hall on MONDAY, October 26th starting at 7:00pm. Please note the change of venue from our normal location. The address is 2244 Chicoutimi Dr. N.W., very near the diamonds we play on.

Be aware that attendance will be limited to 100 people due to COVID-19 restrictions. Only the first 100 people will be granted admission to the room. Please try to sit with the cohort with which you have been playing ball this summer.

A hamburger and a beer for $10.00 will be available from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The bar will be open before and during the meeting.

IMPORTANT: The league Secretary, John Schmidt, (john.sch@shaw.ca) must receive special resolutions (those which involve by-law changes) ON or BEFORE OCTOBER 2nd so that they can be sent out to members for consideration. Please contact John for instructions on how resolutions should be worded.

League members are encouraged to attend to provide feedback to the Board about the season just past, and guidance for the upcoming 2021 season.

Hi Again, Everyone:

Ron Williams informs us that our annual casino days are Friday/Saturday, September 25/26 and as of this date the AGLC says it is a ‘go.’

The venue is Cash Casino at 4040 Blackfoot Trail S.E., the same as last year.

Many Board and other members have stepped up to man the volunteer positions, which are all now filled. A big THANK YOU to those volunteering their time!

Please be aware that our league does NOT have the Charleswood 1 diamond reserved for Monday nights.

Earlier in the season, we had this diamond reserved for Mondays and a few AAA/AA Monday practices/scrimmages were on the schedule. Now, however, the diamond is reserved for the YYC 50+ Ladies League. Our league has no Monday games scheduled at Charlie 1 the rest of the 2020 season.

So please do not use the diamond on Monday nights for practices or rainout makeups. Cantact A.J. Boyd or Len Seib if you need to reserve a diamond.
