Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know that we held a great Spring General Meeting last night at Triwood.
There was lots to discuss and items to review. Great job by this years Board for having all the info ready and for the Board Members for their briefs on their Committee Items.
We had a great Turnout which is awesome to see. I counted 63 members in total at last night’s meeting.
As always, there were some great discussions and questions asked by the members in general so that is always a positive thing to have. Nice to see so many invested members in the League !!

I also want to Send a Huge thank you to our good Friends at Triwood for having Collingwood Room ready for us with all the tables and chairs set up, as well as the screen and projector set up before hand and ready to go. And of course Renee was awesome helping out and looking after all our orders from JT’s Lounge.
Thanks to Everyone at Triwood !!

I also have a couple of Photo Albums to share with everyone.

Click on the following Links to see pictures from the meeting and pictures of our Years of Service, Pin Recipients from last night.

And here is a bit of MLB fun facts for everyone to enjoy,
“A Fitting Farewell. Rare are the Times a great player gets to go out on top in the style that Ted Williams managed in 1961.
Playing in what he knew would be the final game of his career, on Sept 28th, 1960, the “Splendid Splinter” hammered his 521st home run of his career, then went into the dugout and never played again"

Hi Everyone,

Its that time of the year when we need our worker bees to volunteer at Triwood Community Center to help dismantle the Outdoor Hockey Arena, which is currently set up on the Triwood 1 Ball Diamond.

This event is scheduled for Saturday April 15th at 9AM at Triwood.

Last year we had about 10 guys show up from our League to volunteer and with the community volunteers that showed up, we had this work wrapped up in about 2-1/2 hours.

So if you are available, please come out and give a hand.

You will need a pair of gloves, maybe a few tools if you have them, wire cutters, a cordless drill, a small plastic container to keep track of the screws and misc hardware, maybe a garbage bag.
Remember, this also helps out our league by getting the Triwood Diamond prepped sooner to start our new upcoming season.

Please let me know if you can give a hand.

Thanks Everyone,

Paul M

Hello Everyone,

Our registrar, John Schmidt has been working hard on this list of Pin Recipients and he has just sent me the list to get posted here for everyone to see.
We are going to be handing out our League’s Years of Service Pins at the General Meeting this coming Wednesday April 12th.
We will be presenting the 30 Year and 25 Year service Pins just before the general meeting gets underway at 6:30pm. The remaining Years of Service Pins, 20 yrs, 15yrs and 10yrs can be picked up from John schmidt or myself before the meeting gets started. We will be set up at the back of the room.

Please take a look at the List provided to locate your name and the pin you will be receiving.

If you are unable to attend Wednesday’s meeting, we will reach out to you at a later time to make arrangements to get you your Pin.

Pins have not been handed out since 2018, that is why there are so many this year.
Apologies to everyone for the delay in getting you your pins.

There are 3 columns of names on this list. Please look carefully for your name.
See the List at the Bottom of this page.
Cheers Everyone,
Paul
