Hi Everyone,

By now you have heard from either Brad or I that you were drafted to play with the D’Backs this year. Welcome to our team! Brad and I are excited to have you all on board and look forward to a season of kicking ass and taking names, lol.

We have 2 get-togethers planned before our first league game which will be next Tuesday. The first of these is Wednesday (tomorrow) 6pm at Charleswood #1. We’ll get acquainted, hand out unees, and shake some rust off for those who may not have swung a bat or thrown a ball in a while. The second is Saturday 3pm at Charleswood #2. Hopefully, most of you can attend at least one of these practices if not both.

You can see these events on our Team Pages calendar (I don’t think the game schedule has been loaded yet). I would like to make use of the functionality in Team Pages for team scheduling and communications as I expect it will be a lot more efficient than manually sending and receiving emails and texts (if this proves to be incorrect, there is another app I will use). Accordingly, if each of you could log in to Team Pages and use it to indicate your availability for each practice, that would be great.
