Hi League,

A valued member of our CSMS 55+ family and Alberta Softball in General, Bill Alexander, passed away on Sunday June 18th.
At this time no official announcement has been made and no funeral will be held, and according to Bill’s Sister, this was at Bill’s request. Bill wished for his ashes to be spread in Sparwood where his parents are buried.

Garth Border will be meeting with Bill’s sister when she arrives in Calgary and an announcement may be produced at that time.
I can say that Bill joined CSMS 55+ in 1998 and was in his 26th year of service with our League.
