Not everyone may know this, but Longtime League Member Dave Kennedy has been dealing with a Health Issue recently and is now in Recovery Mode at the Foothills Hospital. I’ve been told that Dave is doing great and probably anxious to be Home.
Dave played last year in AA on the The Rangers and has been with this League since 2006.

Hi Everyone,

This is a Follow up to the earlier message about The Alberta55 plus Provincial Summer Games that are being held in Peace River this summer, June 16-19 and which is certain to be an excellent time for thousands of 55+ members.

I have been contacted by 2 members, Garth Border and Peter Taylor from Zone 3 that are looking for players for their 75+ team that they have entered for that event. So far they have only managed to gather up a small handful of guys. So if you’re on the fence about participating this year in the Peace River, Alberta 55+ Games, here is your chance. This team needs players !!
Let’s try and help them out by getting signed up with them Today.

As requested by many, here is the Current Registration List for our members that are signed up with CSMS 55+ for the 2022 Season.

On the right side of the names you will see Registered and Status, The Legend below shows what those mean,

Reg –Regular
DbB – both day ball and regular
DbO – day ball only

Alu – Alumni/Other
5 – Alberta 55 membership has been confirmed
A – CSMS membership has been paid for
P – payment is pending (they chose to pay offline)
W – Withdrawn
R – refund has been paid (no one yet)

As of 7:00pm tonight, we have 200 members signed up with Approximately 100 – 120 members yet to sign up. The 200 listed include Alumni, so only 192 current Playing Members are registered.
We need to start picking that up, as John still has One Third of our members to get processed before Evaluations.

Yes that’s correct ! Just 45 Days until our 2022 Season gets going and I for one am very Excited !!
So much to do !! I don’t know where to start.
Hey you still have time to go get that new Glove or maybe that new bat you were hoping to get for Christmas, which never comes, just another pair of ugly socks and a new tie !! But I digress………
go get those cleats re-laced or the ole ball glove restitched, throw away that 5 year old bag of sunflower seeds in your ballbag and buy a fresh bag, whatever it is, lets get it done before the season Starts and get ready for Ball !! And to Finally get back together with all our Great Friends from CSMS 55. I’ve said this before, I Can’t wait to See all those Happy, Smilin Faces again, at Least until that First Pitch, Then it’s all Business !!

Also, Be sure to check out the updated Schedules on the right side of the Home Page on the Website. The Draft Day schedules have all been updated with Location, Dates and Times for each Division. And Don’t shoot the messenger, Triwood set the Times.

**Did everyone get signed up for their free membership with Triwood Community Association. They need us all to be signed up as members if we want to get served at JT’s Lounge. So Get signed up, I would really hate to have to drink that Cold Beer that you couldn’t get because you didn’t get signed up !!

**FYI, At the Start of the Season, I will be coming out to all the games for the first week or 2 to try and Get Full League Wide Team Pictures from All Divisions. So once the Season Starts, be ready, Cause we want those Pictures. They will also get posted on the Website and everyone will be updated on where to see them. I will also email them out to each team Manager or Coach and they can distribute to their own team. And I will be following up later in the Season for Playoff Pictures.
