Hi Everyone,

Teena Prevost lost her son Corey last year and is organizing a golf tournament in his memory to support the Calgary Society for Persons with Disabilities. Teena plays slo-pitch in the YYC Senior Ladies Slo Pitch League which you will know is closely associated with our CSMS. Teena also volunteered at our last casino.
Teena is looking for golfers for the tournament as well as additional support, if possible.

I’m sure it will be a great day and a lot of fun on the course.
So please, let’s all try and help out for this very worthwhile cause.

Hi Monday Rec Ball Players,

Borden has asked me to post the following info,

Hey Guys,
Sensational start to the 2024 Monday Rec Dayball season! ( Sadly no pics as alot of admin stuff needed to be addressed )
Great weather! And Great action!
And a HUGE SHOUTOUT to those players who showed up early and/or stayed to play the second game!
As a result of previous commitments, travel or illness, about 12 regular Monday Rec Players could not make it out yesterday.
Expecting more " heated" action next week when these missing players return to their respective lineups!

Hey Everyone!

Now that the season has started….HOW’S YOUR HITTING?

Are you sick and tired of hitting weak ground balls to the shortstop? Embarrassed from popping up to the infield with the bases loaded?

So, when are you going to DO something about it?

I have three spots left in the SENIOR SLOPITCH TRAINING CAMP with Bob O’Brien and Alan Tanner coming to Calgary from Florida. Bob and Alan are Majors+ slopitch players and lifelong professional trainers and coaches.

The camp will be 2-1/2 days, Friday-Sunday, July 12-14 at the Aero Diamonds. With 18 campers and two coaches there will be LOTS of face time with the coaches to get personal swing assessment and other instruction. Your hitting WILL improve, as you learn to hit line drives over the infield and into the gaps for extra bases. Your defense, pitching and your ability to avoid injuries will also improve. The cost for the weekend is just $399. Lots of fun in addition to teaching.

Get off your butt and make this the summer you kick your game UP a notch…or two or three! I’m serious, you don’t want to miss this.

Cancelled at Triwood.

Everyone will be notified at a later time with Updates on a Make Up Date.

FYI, AAA Div Games scheduled tonight at Webber Park are still scheduled.
Repeat, AAA Games have NOT been cancelled for tonight.
