2024 CSMS Player Registration Form

Welcome to the 2024 CSMS online registration.

The 2024 CSMS League season will run from May 6th through mid-August. Playoffs will run through late August and early September.

Any personal information you provide is managed according to the Personal Information and Protection Act and will only be used for the purposes of league operations and administration.

Please be sure to read the information boxes highlighted in yellow.

If you are having a problem registering, please click on “How to Register Video” under the LINKS sidebar at the left of the screen. This may guide you to a solution. If you still can’t resolve the problem, please email the CSMS Registrar at registrar@grandslamslopitch.com with a brief description of the problem.

NOTE: If you are paying by credit card, after you’ve filled in your card info, be sure to un-check the tiny box just in front of the line that says “Save this information ….” If you don’t, you’ll just keeep looping.

NOTE: If you successfully complete the registration procedure, you will end up at a ‘congratulations’ screen message that will tell you you are all set. There is NO email message sent out as a confirmation.

Which division or team will I play on?

We are an ability based league. All registered players go into a draft pool and are drafted by team Managers based on their ability. Div AAA drafts 1st, Div AA 2nd, and Div A 3rd.

Calgary Senior Men’s Slo-Pitch League 55 Plus (CSMS 55+) Waiver

I, the undersigned, acknowledge that I am applying to play slopitch in the Calgary Senior Men’s Slo-Pitch League 55 + (hereafter known as The League). I also acknowledge and understand that slopitch is a sport & that there are inherent risks in playing & participating in a sport.

By registering & further, by participating in this sport, I agree & accept the risks inherent to that sport & further understand & acknowledge that these risks could lead to personal injury or death.

For consideration of being allowed to participate in the league, I hereby covenant & agree not to make any claim or commence or maintain any action against or proceeding against the League or its employees, officers, officials, agents, administrators, successors or assigns or any person or corporation in which I could claim against the League arising out of or in any way related to or connected with my participation in the playing, watching or coaching within the League.

In consideration of acceptance of my participation in the League activities, I agree that the League or any of its volunteers, or sponsors shall not be liable for any personal injury, property damage or loss arising from, or in any way resulting from my participation. In addition permission is granted to administer any medical treatment that may be required.

I also acknowledge that by paying the Alberta 55+ fee of $40, I am agreeing to the conditions of their waiver form that may be viewed at:

Further, I acknowledge that during CSMS League activities, photography of participants will take place and that photos of me may be posted on the league’s public website and social media sites and I agree to the use of my image in those ways.

If you are paying online via credit card, be sure to unclick the check mark that is in the tiny box at the end of your credit card data that you will be entering. If you don’t, PayPal assumes you really do want to open an account with them and until you do, you will go around in circles.

So please skip down to the bottom of this page and click on the LEFT Submit button. This will take you to the Pay Summary page where you may choose to pay online via credit card or PayPal or off-line by cheque.

Once you have done that, scroll to the bottom of the Pay Summary page and hit the Complete Registration button.

Please note: If you successfully complete the online registration, you will end up at a ‘congratulations’ message’ on your computer, letting you know that you are ‘good to go.’ There is NO confirmation email sent out.
