Hi Everyone,

I have an update for everyone and I have been asked to send out a request.

Your 2023 Board of directors held their first meeting on October 24th and planning for the 2023 season is well under way. Board meetings have now been scheduled every month, right up to the beginning of next years season. Many items are being discussed and reviewed and committees are being formed to ensure a Great 2023 Season.

Also, We are looking to see who is interested in umpiring in the 2023 year and in which division(s)? If your have never umpired and want to try your hand as an umpire in the CSMS 55+, please let us know and we will supply you with a rules clinic and some on-field mechanics training. If you are a returning umpire and plan to help the league out again in 2023, please also let us know that you’re in. We will need to know from all umpires which division(s), AAA, AA or A and if you can do more than one division or if you only want to umpire in a single division.

We are also actively looking for one or two individuals that will take on the responsibility of scheduling the 2023 umpires in AAA, AA division and assigning umpires for any rainout games. So if this is you, please reach out to either Dave Finn or Ron DiPasquale. Remember this could be you or maybe your better half, who is an organized person and knows how to manage calendars/events. We need your help.
