News and Announcements

Hi Everyone

I am going to host a Practice this coming Wednesday at the CW 2 Diamond starting at 6PM. I would like to give priority to all new players first followed by our veteran players. This practice will be open to AA and AAA Players.

I would like to run some infield drills and outfield drills that would focus on cut off throws and proper player placement/positioning.

Hitting would be a secondary concern at this practice.

I would like up to 16 players so if you are interested, and your not already scheduled to play that night, please contact me to confirm your attendance. New players will have first priority.

I will be trying to run another practice the following week as well, as long as no make up games have been scheduled on CW 2. Players that we were not able to accomodate at this weeks practice will get priority at the next weeks practice.

FYI, Make Up Games will take Priority over a scheduled practice and practices may cancelled on short notice !!
Please contact me to reserve a spot.
Thanks Everyone,
Paul M

“You start chasing a ball and your brain immediately commands your body to ‘Run forward, bend, scoop up the ball, peg it to the infield,’ then your body says, ‘Who me?’

Hi Everyone,

I have been asked by several people to better explain how to enter Team Scores and Stats and also on how to View all the Game Scores.
So there are now 2 new help Videos available on the website for everyone to view.
(Thanks to Bill Aitken for getting them put up for me)

The first video is Titled,
How to enter Scores and HR’s

And the second video is Titled,
How to View Game Scores

You will find both of these videos on the main home page of our CSMS55+ website, which I have included here with this Link,

https://www.grandslamslopitch.com/

The videos are located on the Left side of the Homepage and are listed under the Heading, LINKS and are 7 and 8 lines down from the Top. (See Picture above as well).

Please be sure to check them out.
And as always, if anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Cheers Everyone,

Hi Everyone,

I have been asked to reach out to the membership with a request.

We need your help to try and find someone with a “Bobcat” to help us level a small area at Triwood that will be used to accommodate a metal Storage container.

This container is going to give us a more secure storage facility and will greatly cut down on thefts or attempted thefts.

If anyone “has” a bobcat or knows someone that does and could help us out with this little project, we would appreciate it if you could have them contact me at,

https://www.grandslamslopitch.com/organizations/3209/contact_page/contacts/7551/emails/new

We are hoping this job can be completed some time next week and I am expecting this job to take approx. 1 hour of work with the right machine.

Price is not an issue, as we have an “unlimited” $20 budget and we are also offering free access to view any and all of our softball games during the month of June for their viewing pleasure to help get this work done !!

Seriously, we will work with them on the cost to complete.

Thanks Everyone,
Paul M

Hi Everyone,

Just an update on the Bat that was found at the Charleswood 2 Diamond a few weeks back.

The rightful owner has been located, and the bat has been safely returned to her.
It belonged to a player from the Sport and Social Club.

Cheers Everyone,

Paul M
