Sad to have to report the passing of Peter Tymko. Peter played in our league for 14 years during the span 1997 to 2012.

Here is his obituary, in which his participation in our league is mentioned:

Peter Tymko passed away at the age of 84 years old on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in Calgary. Peter is survived by his wife of 60 years, Josephine; his daughter Lesa Ryz (Don) of Vernon; his son Dean (Diane) of Calgary; his grandson Alex Tymko of Calgary; and his brother Walter of Edmonton. Peter was born in Edmonton, Alberta and spent 32 years with Edmonton Transit. After retirement in 1994, Peter and Josephine moved to Canmore and then to Calgary in 2003. Peter played Senior Men’s Slow Pitch in Edmonton and Calgary for many years. Cremation has taken place and a small private ceremony will be celebrated at Eternal Springs Columbarium at St. Michael Catholic Community in Calgary.
