Blue Jays AAA Champs 2019
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present the 2019 AAA gold medal champion Blue Jays who dominated the AAA Division with a regular season record of 21W, 4L and 3T. Going 3W, 1L in the playoffs made for a remarkable 24W, 5L and 3T season.
Please join me in congratulating the players, coach and manager for putting together a truly extraordinary CSMSL year.

All:
Paul Dvorak is retiring from the league after this season after many years in the league. He played for the AAA Mariners who took the bronze medal this week. You can view some of the photos of his last game here:

Drinking in the Bleachers at Triwood
AA Division Gentlemen:
It has been brought to my attention by the staff at the Triwood bar that there are teams drinking their own beer in the bleachers after their games. As this is both detrimental to the Triwood Community liquor license and to the availability of our league to play on their diamond, it would be appreciated if this practice stops before we have to suffer the consequences.
The Triwood Community graciously agreed to open their bar on all nights that we play there to make it easier for players and fans to access their drink specials and daily food specials. Please give this your utmost attention.
Thanks,
Ernie French

Tie-Breaking Format for Playoffs
Hello all:
We’re coming down to the wire on the 2019 CSMSL season with most teams having just four games left to play. Many playoff races are tight, and folks are thinking ahead to possible ties in the final standings. Here is a reminder about how we break ties to determine standings for the playoffs. Ties are broken by considering the following records in order until one team bests the other(s):
1. Number of games won.
2. Number of games lost.
3. Number of tied games.
4. Number of total points for games played.
If still tied after these four points then resort to the following tiebreakers
1. Head to head record of the teams involved with the tie…if still tied then…
2. Total plus/minus points of all games played between the tied teams…if still tied then…
3. Total plus/minus points of all games played in season…if still tied then…
4. Total runs scored for team in entire season…if still tied then…
5. Total runs scored against team in entire season…if still tied then…
6. Flip a coin…twice….first flip to determine who gets the right to call…then call and flip
Good luck to all down the stretch (unless you’re playing MY team!).
