MANAGERS and COACHES CODE of ETHICS COMMITMENT to the PLAYERS Managers and Coaches shall put the welfare and safety of their athletes above all else while maintaining professional relationships with them. Managers and Coaches shall encourage the athlete to exhibit sportsmanship at all times. Managers and Coaches shall follow CSMSL rules. Managers, Coaches and Umpires will treat players with dignity and respect at all times. Managers and Coaches need to understand that they are role models for their players. They must project a proper role model image. The Manager's and Coach's commitment to the player and the player's commitment to the Manager and Coach is an equal partnership. COMMITMENT to the LEAGUE Managers and Coaches shall behave in such a way that they shall bring credit to their organization and to themselves. Managers and Coaches will have and show professional behaviour. Managers and Coaches shall act in full accordance with CSMSL rules, commitments and assigned responsibilities. Managers and Coaches will follow CSMSL's Code of Conduct. COMMITMENT to OTHER MANAGERS and COACHES All other Managers, Coaches and Umpires shall be treated in a professional and respectable manner both on and off the field. Any displeasure with a Manager, Coach or Umpire's action or conduct shall be addressed through the proper channels and not through discussions with other players or through public opinion.
